Welcome to the new home of the Blakely family of Vienna, VA. The site is still under re-construction from the move to our own web domain but we hope to have it back to full speed within a short time.

As some of you know my middle name, Ketona, was given to me from my mother's family and it was said to be from a story about an Indian boy. After years of off and on research I was able to find a librarian interested in helping me determine the origin of the name. Here is a link to a story first published in the Harvard Monthly in 1899. It's titled "In the Name of His Ancestor" and written by William Jones.
